Amendments to descriptions
Mike Suggested we broaden our range of descriptions so there is a choice for candidates.
Suggestions included: BR Fixing a Broken System, BR Beyond Left and Right, BR A Platform for All, BR Power to the Public, BR Towards a Global Revolution.
Booklets
Mike has put all his 6 booklets onto the Blue Revolution Website for sale, with proceeds going to the Blue Revolution Account. Blue Revolution needs to have an income stream which is not based on party membership so as to support long term viability. As part of this process we can check book sales and income into the bank account.
Membership
There was lively discussion about membership. How we manage members and how we ensure that we don’t find our core values of Contract, Choice and Consent being overridden in the future. It was agreed that the constitution would be tightened up so that our core political values are at the centre of our constitution, namely: NO Whipping, Vote on Conscience, end the Party based top down system of Government.
