Accounts
Accounts proposed by Neil and Seconded by Richard. Approved by all present.
Activities and publicity 2019
Facebook is giving us a lot of good publicity. The Political sketches seem popular and could be more widely distributed.
Twitter: Boston Resident now has 80 followers.
Blue Rev 360 followers twice weekly.
Council Election
Overall, we achieved about 17% of the vote with four candidates. Knocking on doors is a good strategy. Leaflets are a support to canvassing. One idea per campaign. Ros suggested that we need to hold councillors to account.
Wyberton Parish
We now have a Blue Revolution Parish Councillor in Bryan Reeves.
By Election
Maybe the Boris bounce explains the outcome for the campaign. Brexit will have played a part too. The general vibe was positive on the streets.
Leaflets
It was suggested that we liaise with Maxine Stones and Heather Murrell to publicise their meeting. Bryan suggested that we attend the parish meeting. Well being survey by the Co-op about Lincs low scoring areas are having a voice.
Terra Cycle Uk an idea to try to develop in the forthcoming year.
Developing the community engagement process for Wyberton and the Town Centre.
